Big Red Athletic Foundation

By now you may have heard about the push by the newly formed Big Red Athletic Foundation to sell the minimum 300 Biloxi License plates required to get our own state-issued Biloxi Indians license plate. The cost is $31 over an above the regular cost of your plate, and the Foundation will receive $24 every year that you renew. If you have already bought one, thank you. Ocean Springs and Petal have both told us it was hard getting that initial 300 but now they have from 700-1000 tags each in their cities.

We need your help now to help us get 300 sold by Oct. 11 so we can receive the tags in January. Otherwise we must wait until the next deadline, May 15, and get the tags in July. If you have not bought one (or more) for your family's vehicles, we need to sell approx. 200 more by Monday, Oct. 11 to give us time to get the required forms and paperwork to the State Tax Commission by Oct. 15.

There is just one simple step you need to take. Just click here to download the application form, fill it out and mail it to the
address on the form along with $31 payable to the Big Red Athletic Foundation for each tag you buy. You'll need to fill in your current tag number on that form. That's it. That will initiate the process. The tags will all be sent by the State to the local tag office in early January. The Big Red Athletic Foundation will notify you that your tag is in. You will have 60 days to trade in your current tag for the new Biloxi tag. Custom License Plate FAQ's

If we don't sell 300 by Oct. 11, we will hold your funds in Trust until the next deadline in May. But we are hopeful with your help we can make the October 11 date.
